Review of Chak de India

I watched a film called “Chak de India” last year. Indian Bollywood star Sharukhan played a nice role as a hockey coach for a women hockey team. The meaning for the name of the film is “Go for it & get it India”. The film beautifully portrays Men domination and also the spirit among the women to dominate men. Sharukhan the great Indian actor had not acted but he had lived as a hockey coach in this film. Tears will definitely come out from our eyes at the climax. In addition this film portrays the beautiful game hockey which is the national game of India too. From this film we will get  some important messages about: Self confidence, Hard work, smart work, unity, patriotism etc

Teenage Years

My teenage years were uneventful, rather dull and peaceful which confounded and confused my parents to no end.  They were prepared for a child who was rebellious and difficult, having both been that sort of teenager themselves, they were highly unprepared for a kid who didn’t back talk or try to sneak out at 3am for parties. I wasn’t much of a challenge for them.  I did try to spice things up once by coming home with pink hair, sadly my mother found that it was rinse out color and was unipressed.  I did the typical things that a person does as they grow, I dated, broke a few hearts and had mine smashed a time or two.  I fell in love, married a great man and have had two children and have settled into the typical hectic life of a housewife and mom with kids in school.

A Quiet Place

Last weekend as in very weekend, I spend it with my mom. I would wake up earlier than usual to prepare what I would bring along with me. I have a bottle of cold, purified water, because I have very sensitive stomach. Only a very mild exposure to tap water, would lead me to intestinal infection. I also have my drawing and painting tools. I do not forget to bring a good book along. I sometimes try to bring food. The journey takes about an hour or so. Before going to my mom, I hear mass. Entering her home, I feel at peace. The soft wind blowing against my face and the chirping of the birds makes me calm and content. It has been four years since my mom left this earth, yet every time I visit her grave, I know she is near. She will always be around to look after my welfare and give me the comfort and love I savor when I visit her.

Understanding Lost

My favorite TV show has been the show Lost since it was released. The show is beyond frustrating and yet intriguing at the same time. In today’s time most things you find on TV seem to be some sort of reality TV show. Lost is different that it’s not a reality show and not a comedy, cop drama or hospital show. We really aren’t sure what Lost is though. Lost begins with a plane crashing into the ocean with survivors scrambling in confusion. They instantly begin seeing themselves in a different light. They have either been heeled of a disability they previously had, or lost handcuffs and marshals. You watch these people develop relationships and yet try to hide who they were even though it doesn’t matter. There are also mysterious creatures on the island like a smoke ghost, something that looks like a polar bear and the others. The others are humans who inhabit the island but we aren’t sure where from. They seem aggressive immediately to the survivors. They all fight for relationships and a way off the island or to figure out how to stay on the island because of its power.
